logistics FAQ

Coming to Big Ski on December 1st:

1. You can fly in to either HDN or DEN!

2. If you fly into DEN, we highly recommend arriving in Denver between 9:00 AM - Noon. The welcome party starts at 7:00PM and you have a long drive from DEN to Steamboat, so the earlier you arrive the better! If you absolutely must fly in later, we expect the last shuttle to leave Denver no later than 4:00 PM, so please arrive no later than 3:00 PM

3. If you fly into HDN, there are only 3 flights, we recommend you take one of the two that gets in mid-day (11:30 AM or 12:32 PM), not the flight that gets in at 8:19 PM.

Coming to Big Ski on December 3rd:

1. Fly into HDN on a flight that lands prior to 1pm

2. If you absolutely must fly in later, you will have to find your own transit (discount code provided)

3. Flying into DEN is strong discouraged as you will have to rent a car and will likely miss the social event that evening.

Leaving Big Ski on December 6th :

1. You can fly out of either HDN or DEN

2. If you are flying out of DEN, we highly recommend departing between Noon - 3:00 PM, as if you have an earlier flight, your shuttle will leave Steamboat in the middle of the night. Also note, the last shuttle from Steamboat to DEN will likely depart Steamboat around 10:00 AM, so we also recommend against super late flights, as you will have to wait for a long time at the airport.

3. If you are flying out of HDN, take whichever flight you wish, but note that if you choose the 7:00 AM option, you will be on a shuttle leaving Steamboat very early.
